Okuma to showcase world première at EMO Milano 2021
Krefeld (Germany), 31 May 2021. Okuma Europe GmbH, European representative of the internationally renowned CNC machinery manufacturer, has confirmed that it will be participating in EMO Milano 2021. The industry event for machinery and tool manufacturers will take place from 4 to 9 October 2021 at the Rho exhibition centre in Milan. Okuma will use this opportunity to simultaneously present several trail-blazing new developments under the exhibition motto “Feel the Magic of Okuma”. As a world premiere, the newly developed MA-600HIII machining centre for high performance chip removal will be available to see.
“We are really looking forward to being able to welcome and greet customers as well as interested parties in person at last and to advise them on the optimal solutions for their production challenges”, says Norbert Teeuwen, Managing Director of Okuma Europe GmbH. “On this occasion, we will be presenting several exhibition highlights simultaneously which will raise our customers’ work to a new level.” Under the motto “Feel the Magic of Okuma”, the company will be presenting among other things numerous innovative machine tools with special new developments – and a real world premiere.
World premiere: New machining centre for high performance chip removal
As an exclusive, Okuma is now revealing the first highlight for trade visitors: The company will be celebrating a world premiere at the EMO Milano with the newly developed horizontal machining centre MA-600HIII! Thanks to optimised features, this member of the proven MA-H series allows the greatest possible automation and disruption-free robot operation. The MA-600HIII is also impressive with its even faster processing speeds, machine performance, and precision. A newly developed universal spindle is being used for this among other things. In addition to that, the MA-600HIII with its special “ECO Suite” energy-saving system contributes towards less energy consumption and a reduced environmental impact. This allows the machine to meet all requirements for process reliability and dimensional accuracy, especially in the automotive industry, in agriculture, or in the production of construction machinery and railway parts.
One Okuma highlight follows the next
“In the coming weeks, we will give further glimpses of our exhibition highlights”, Norbert Teeuwen says, tantalising us. “Today I can already reveal that among them will be a European premiere and a groundbreaking new development.”
Further details on the exhibited machines and participation at EMO Milano 2021 will be announced in good time.
