Event showcasing digitalisation solutions in the machining industry

Extra date added to Okuma Technology Day

Krefeld (Germany), 6 April 2021. Due to popular demand, Okuma Deutschland GmbH, together with its long-standing partners SolidCAM, AMF and Emuge-Franken, has added a second date to its upcoming Technology Day to be held in Suhl, Germany. Interested companies can now attend specialist presentations and live demonstrations on 22 April too, where they can find out about all the latest insights and methods from the world of machining.

Optimising production processes and increasing efficiency: this is the slogan for the Technology Day, which Okuma is hosting in Suhl on 21 and 22 April in conjunction with its partners SolidCAM GmbH, EMUGE-Werk Richard Glimpel GmbH & Co. KG and Andreas Maier GmbH & Co. KG. As the first date was fully booked in no time at all, Okuma, one of the world's leading providers of CNC machines, has now put on an extra date.

In the morning, Okuma and its partners will give four specialist presentations laying out all the latest developments and technologies from the machining industry. While in the afternoon, Okuma will host a live demonstration of how state-of-the-art clamping systems can be combined with different tool, CAM and machine concepts on the Okuma Genos M460V-5AX vertical 5-axis machining centre. "We want our Technology Day to give interested companies a hands-on insight into how they can harness innovative machining and cutting technologies, along with pioneering application technologies, to increase their productivity and profitability – and so to maintain a long-term competitive edge," explains Stefan Vielsäcker, Managing Director of Okuma Deutschland GmbH.

Comprehensive hygiene measures have been put in place for the event; the number of attendees has been severely restricted, for instance. Register for free at https://promo.okuma.eu/de/technologietaginsuhl.
