At Okuma, we have a long history of innovation. And we continuously seek to improve the quality of our machines’ construction, the breadth of our offerings, and the strength of our technology. Pushing the evolution of manufacturing. That is our mission.
Okumas history starts with its founding in 1898 as a noodle machine manufacturer. The first machine tools were manufactured from 1904. More than a century after making the jump to manufacturing machine tools, Okuma’s state-of-the-art CNC products are used around the world to produce high-quality components for demanding industries such as aerospace and automotive.
The company played an important part in the development on the manufacturing industry and is the industry’s only single-source provider, manufacturing the CNC machine, drive, motor, encoder, spindle and CNC control.
We are proud to be the industry’s only single-source provider. Our global sales and service operations with local distributors around the world enable us to provide our customers with all the support they need – whenever, wherever. A wide network of partners helps us to keep defining the cutting-edge, from sophisticated automation to full-on smart factory management.
